Backing Tracks For Jazz Musicians

I have had many requests to produce backing tracks with piano, bass and drums for use by horn players, guitarists and other solo instrumentalists. I tried it the other day and am very happy with the results! I add my own piano comping to the backing track and it sounds pretty much like you have a live jazz trio backing you! Perfect for trying out new solo ideas. You can check out a sample on my website here: Backing Tracks. Click on the "In A Mellow Tone" to hear one with just Bass and Drums and then imagine my piano comping on top of it and that's what it sounds like. If you have a request for a particular song - just email and let me know. Each backing track is only $1.50 for bass and drums and for $3.00 you get the full trio with my "personalized" piano comping.

Welcome to the Lot2Learn Jazz Piano Blog

Greetings fellow Jazz Musician's!
No matter what stage your are in your jazz studies, there is always so much to learn and explore! I hope you will visit my website at http://www.lot2learn.com/ to see all the new files from my YouTube channel posts. I have included midi and .PDF files of my solos as well as backing track files.
Here is a brief description of the files available for download:
Piano MIDI File - This contains the PIANO PART ONLY in MIDI format.
PDF Notation File - This is a notation file in PDF format generated from the MIDI Piano File. This may not be completely notation correct (notes not exactly on the proper beat in the measure), but does contain all the notes from the piano solo. (see sample for download at the bottom of this page below)
Backing Track MP3 - This contains the backing track used in the video in MP3 format. Includes Bass and Drums only.
Backing Track MIDI - This contains a backing track similar to what is used in the video however using MIDI data. The quality of the instruments are dependent on your sound card. This may by speed adjusted using a MIDI player. Includes Bass and Drums only.
I hope you will check out my site and let me know if you have any requests for future songs, backing tracks or other products.
Thanks!
Regards,
Roger aka Lot2Learn
